It is a project of the editor, the Australian short story writer O. Spaniel Murray, who is now based in the city and has been running a service called ‘The Morning Haiku’ for several cafes in Malacca Old Town.
In response to the morning haiku, several other people around town have started writing haiku and short poems. Hopefully others will join in.
These web pages are a place to present this work, along with photography, most of it by retired Australian academic, Dr R. Blackhirst.
